Well another successful SFS event here in Tom Price last night. A massive thank you to all that attended, participated, helped, donated or showed your support. I am continually astounded at the generosity of members of our beautiful community and proud to be a part of it.
Thank you to the efforts from our three Throne entrants who participated in the race for the honor of the Golden Poo!! Which, in the end was not taken home by the winner but the highest bidder! Trace from Roadies was the lucky (generous) bidder that won the Golden Poo and it was going straight to the Roadies Van.
Roadies also need a special thank you from their competitors for stepping it up a notch and bombing the competition with eggs and water balloons. I am sure that they all enjoyed smelling like a stinky egg after the race!
True to form, our Cadets where present and ready to lend a hand where needed. An amazing bunch of kids that show so much support and respect for our community. Thank you.
The raffle was drawn today at the soccer grand final and the winners are;

I appreciate the effort that everyone has put in and I thank you again and again.
I do not have final figures but at a rough estimate we have raised around four thousand dollars...........................

Well the time has finally arrived!!!! The awesome Heidi has honoured her end of the deal, raising a whopping $ 2100 towards Steps for Stessy, amazing effort, you are a star xxxxx Hair also being donated to make wigs for people going through Cancer treatment, truly awesome!!!! For those of you who knew Stephanie and her hairdressing skills, I'm sure if she was here, she would have loved to have cut it for her Aunty Heidi.

Steps for Stessy Walk - 19 October 2014
Warming up at Manjimup’s Breast Cancer walk today for our Steps for Stessy Walk next Sunday 19th October. Registration at 8.30 am, walk at 10 am followed by a sausage sizzle, bouncy castle and lots of fun to be had for the whole family.See you all there.
With precious memories kept alive we make a difference with every Stessy's step we take. All proceeds to PMH helping kids fight cancer.

John Hughes Big Walk - 27 Oct. 2013
The John Hughes Big Walk was developed by the Rotary Club of Mosman Park in 1996. Each year thousands of walkers raise money and since 2006, funds fomr the event support Rotary Projects and the cancer ward at Prins Margaret Hospital.
What a amazing result: Steps of Stessy named highest fundraising team at the PMH Big Walk. We raised $30k.

Steps for Stessy Manjimup launch and walk, ahead of The 2013 John Hughes Big Walk, will be held on Sunday, October 13 at Manjin Park from 11am.
Following the walk there will be a sausage sizzle, marron races, a silent auction and raffles. All funds raised will go to the cancer ward at Princess Margaret Hospital. A place that has helped many children from Manjimup, including the inspiration of this cause, Stephanie “Stessy” Tempra.
